Emily has been a civil litigator for twenty years. Her practice areas have included: real property, land use, construction defect, neighbor law, toxic torts, contracts, landlord/tenant, environmental, trust and estate litigation, special district law, and others. She has represented Fortune 500 corporate clients, Ivy League universities, national insurance companies, small businesses and individuals in all phases of disputes.
Emily graduated from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in 1998. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a minor in Political Science.
Emily is a Marin County native, and she continues to live in Marin County with her husband and their two children. She has received a Marin County Board of Supervisors Resolution for her outstanding volunteer service and the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services.
